UJIMA's primary objectives are to reduce the rate of teen pregnancy amongst African American youth, and to promote healthy youth development by fostering appropriate behaviors and lifestyles. <br><br>UJIMA strives to achieve program goals by promoting abstinence as the major approach to preventing teen pregnancy. UJIMA offers Keeping It Real!: A Faith-Based Teen Dialogue Model on Sex and Sexuality, as its core training curriculum. This core curriculum is complemented with the other abstinence-based curriculum along with the most current information and research available.<br> <br>UJIMA encourages healthy development of the whole person; therefore the program goals are further enhanced through programs and activities that support these objectives.<br>
