YWCA St. Paul Youth Development Programs include: Youth Achievers Program (YAP) increases resilience, builds coping skills, and enhances the ability of youth (girls and boys) ages 8-14 who typically don't experience an emphasis placed on their strengths, skills and abilities to grow into healthy, productive, peaceful adults. Girls Life Empowerment and Awareness Program (LEAP) is a specialty component of the Youth Achievers Program designed just for girls and young women ages 8-14 to provide them with the skills, attitudes and support they need to succeed into adulthood. Y's Kids Club is a licensed school-aged child care and development program for children (girls and boys) ages 5-12 that works to enhance the child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Y's Kids Club is based on the philosophy that children love to learn and that learning takes place best experientially.
